Rory Golden
A visual artist, resides in Brooklyn, NY and was born in Springfield, OH
in 1966. He holds an MFA in Book Arts from the University of Alabama.
Rory has owned and operated Palmapodoca Press since 1997,
an imprint publishing letterpress printed broadsides of contemporary poetry
and artist's books.
Rory shows his paintings and artist's books nationally and his artwork is
in public and private collections around the country.
Residencies include the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Montana Artists
Refuge, and Yaddo.
Recent solo exhibitions include the NYPL Donnel Library Branch and The National
Museum of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender History (NYC) and Pittsburg
State University (KS), with an upcoming exhibition "See Related Story: The
Murder of J.R. Warren" at Fairmont State University, Fairmont, WV.
